Designing a great story is challenging, and when your stage is as large as TED, it can feel a little overwhelming.
We had been working with Dr. Betül Kaçar closely on the design of the MUSE website. So when she was asked to give a TED talk halfway through our collaboration, we were thrilled for the opportunity to help her craft her talk.
We worked with Dr. Kaçar to help her design the narrative, craft a great script, and polish the slides to help her story shine. In the end, Betül absolutely SLAYED her talk, and even got asked back on stage to discuss the topic with TED organizers.

"Life makes our planet an incredibly exotic place compared to the rest of the known universe," says astrobiologist Betül Kaçar, whose research uses statistics and mathematical models to simulate ancient environments and gather insights into the origins of existence. In this fascinating talk, she explores how a deeper understanding of chemistry could lead to the "secret sauce" for sparking life on other planets -- and asks us to ponder an important question: If we could kick-start life in the universe, should we?
