Habitat

Habitat is a science-based urban planning firm in Montreal, Canada, that helps municipalities, organizations, and agencies value their ecosystems and develop strategies for resilience. When we started our collaboration, Habitat was facing major changes in their business. They were growing rapidly and needed help designing their offerings, revamping their brand strategy, and updating their online presence. As Dr. Sylvia Wood, Chief Scientist of Research and Development at Habitat, explains:

“We reached out to Impact Media lab to help us develop a website that better reflected who we are as a company today and to help clarify the value we offer to our clients. We were also going to through a process of changing our company name and wanted help to rebrand ourselves.”

We worked with Habitat to design a new communication strategy for their business, including creating images of their work and team and redesigning their website to better match their new vision. Our goal was to help Habitat showcase their unique story, science-driven mission, and innovative approach, while helping future clients immediately recognize the value of the services they offer. The endproduct is a gorgeous new site that works flawlessly across devices, and in multiple languages! As Sylvia wrote:
